I removed the hdd from my laptop, but theres this silver cover on the back.. do I remove this and install it normally or should I leave it?

The silver cover is like paper that covers the disk and the circuit

Also, do I need to use special cables and stuff for the laptop one? or is it fine if I use the normal molex pin + sata cable :]

Solution
The 4-pin molex is fine with a sata power converter cable - should be able to buy at any computer accessories store.

The silver cable is merely an insulation against the part of the laptop the hdd touches. You can safely remove or keep it in place when used in a desktop or USB casing.
