Hello there, tonight I spent a couple hours reading numerous guides/watching videos and tried my first overclock. Everything seems to be stable from the tests I've been running but I just wanted some experts to chime in and tell me I'm being paranoid.

My (relevant) specs are:
CPU - Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing
Motherboard - ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155
Memory - Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3-1600
CORSAIR XMS3 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Video Card - MSI GeForce GTX 970 3.5 GB
Case - Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply - Corsair 850W ATX12V / EPS12V

I spent some time fooling around with various settings and used the guide here for my final settings. I played around with 4.0, 4.2, 4.4, and 4.5 GHz, but I never touched the voltage setting once.

These are the results after I used Prime95 (Both Blend and Small FFTs). I read somewhere that ~30C idle and ~70C load is okay, but mine are a bit higher.

The manual settings I used are:
Cpu Ratio: All Core
All Core: 45
Spread Spectrum: Disabled (This is okay right? I read about this a little and don't understand very well)
Intel Speedstep&Turbo Boost Enabled
Additional Turbo Voltage: +0.004v
Internal PLL Overvoltage: Auto
Long Duration Power Limit: Max
Long Duration Maintained: Auto
Short Duration Power Limit: Max
Primary Plane Current Limit: Max
Secondary Plane Current Limit: Max

CPU Core Voltage: Offset Mode
Offset Voltage: +0.005v
CPU Load-Line Calibration: Level 3
DRAM Voltage: 1.5v

Enhanced Halt State (C1E): Enabled
CPU C3 State Support: Disabled
CPU C6 State Support: Disabled
Package C State Support: Disabled

These in particular were pretty vague / I didn't understand too well. Do I leave these at these settings or am I supposed to revert some changes after I finish stress testing? I read somewhere that some settings are for stress test purposes only. I've run Prime test for a total of 4 hours with no issues whatsoever. Are there any improvements I can make or settings I can change? Thanks for reading.

(Small Off topic: When I browse Google Chrome I usually get some weird screen tearing halfway horizontally when I scroll through pages - is this normal?)
