What RAM should I buy for a DDR4 motherboard and an Intel i7-5820k?

I am planning on building a custom gaming PC. I am going to use an i7-5820k and my motherboard is going to be MSI X99 Extreme Gaming DDR4 motherboard. I was wondering what's the best RAM for me if I plan on doing video editing and mostly gaming? Thanks.

Depends on the game, many are using faster DRAM more and more:

The Dominators are well overpriced though and still mostly running on loose timings, I look at 4x8GB of RipJaws V or TriZs in 3000/3200/14 , 64 GB is way overkill for most

That's one game. Show me benches for these "many" games that benefit from faster ram. I'll wait.

Those are tested on an apu. That's the GPU portion benefitting from faster ram. I'm still waiting on Somebody to show proof that faster ram has any performance gain outside the margin of error with a standard cpu and dedicated GPU besides that one game fallout 4
