Hola everyone,

Just built a new machine with a8-7600, 8GB ram, 128GB ssd and a Samsung f8000 60" TV(screen res is @ 1080p at 60hz).

All youtube videos running from 720p upwards lag a little. Its not too much but enough for me to notice.

I know there are plenty of threads out there regarding this issue and I have tried all the solutions without any luck. This issue exists in all browsers.

Its a brand new install of Windows 10 pro, with the latest AMD APU drivers. I have tried all the "fixes" like enabling hardware acceleration and going to plugins and messing around with flash settings.

Please Help

Open task manager, and look at your CPU utilization whilst you try to watch a video >720p. Does it reach a higher percentage?

How are your temps looking? Are you monitoring? If so, what with?

APUs really benefit from a decent amount, and high speed RAM. You mention 8GB (which should be enough), but what speeds?

This really sounds like an internet speed issue. If you are on wifi try plugging your PC into your router or cable modem with an Ethernet cable even if the router is far away, just to see if it fixes the issue. The higher you turn Youtube video quality the faster your internet must be for that video to stream without lagging. Unless you already have the PC plugged directly into the cable modem or router or god forbid a DSL modem (if you have DSL this is your problem), then wifi is likely your issue.

I have very fast internet but if I'm doing a lot of stuff online and my son is trying to watch a youtube video on wifi this happens to him all the time. Literally the second I plug his notebook into my switch he's good to go.
