Hello everyone!

I have 2 years old system:
Sapphire AMD Radeon™ R9 270X Dual-X Overclocked 2 GB GDDR5-RAM
Gigabyte GA-970-UD3P
AMD FX-6300 Processor, Boxed, Sockel AM3+
Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB, SATA 6Gb/s
8GB-Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport XT Series DDR3-1600

When I'm not in game everything is fine. Computer is silent and you can barely hear it. When I'm in game or I play a youtube video (HD) the sound of graphics card becomes intolerable. Any suggestions on how to fix it or atleast minimize the sound?

Thank you in advance!

Is this you model graphics card? http://www.sapphiretech.com/productdetial.asp?pid=29F7BE3E-2C26-4254-8F98-D217BF99DCBC&lang=eng

If it is, then one of the reasons it's so loud is because it has airflow fans blowing on a heatsink, they would be quieter if they were optimized for static pressure. However, it's somewhat complicated to change fans on a GPU and I don't guarantee a functional card afterwards unless you really know what you're doing.

So I leave you with three options...

1: Do nothing, deal with the sound

2: Get a blower card to blow air on the cooler, like this here https://www.directron.com/ttcsc07tz.html?gsear=1&gclid=CjwKEAjw2PK7BRDPz5nDh9GjoGcSJAAybcS3yX6K7UmUwgGyfLwZA4Ty5jjqK8wpm6uufAizUNZSPRoCr6Xw_wcB

Please note that a blower does not replace the cooler on your card, it simply provides it with fresh air

3: Replace the cooler on your graphics card. If you have an open fan slot on your case where you can mount a radiator, you could get the NZXT Kraken G10 https://www.nzxt.com/categories/kraken-g10 and get an AiO cooler to contact the GPU like this here https://www.nzxt.com/categories/kraken-x31

Please note that the Kraken G10 provides airflow to the VRMs and RAM on the card, while the Kraken X31 would provide water cooling to the GPU itself.

Yea, that's the graphic card I have. Does the blower card goes just above the graphics card? How effective is the blower card?
