crosshair v formula-z ff error

I have checked all threads and carried out all test changed hardware etc etc made sure its the correct version i am now on my 3rd board all with the same fault i have tried building it out of the case to be sure still same fault can anyone help

All i get is FF with the Dram light on near the 24 power pin

Then I'd RMA the CPU, since board replaced.

And its the same for all 3 boards 2 are from the same supplier the latest one is from a different supplier

It looks like a CPU issue. If under warranty, I'd RMA it.

Can you test the CPU and one of the 3 boards with the power supply in the working pc? No other components or connections. See if still ff.

I Have tested 2 different CPU's 3 different PCU's and 4 different Ram on all three boards all have ff code with Dram light lit near 24 power pin.
my working pc at the minute is a gigabite motherboard but im changing due to low voltage for my CPU. it all seems to point towards the board but what are the chances of 3 boards not working from new

What about the CPU cooler? Have you tested it on the Gigabyte board?

I haven't actually the CPU cooler is also new.

Try and see, to rule it out.
Or test the CPU and ASUS board with the old CPU cooler.

Hey thanks I fitted my air cpu cooler and it runs fine so refitted my new water cooler and it now works so weird but thanks so much
