help my pc keeps freezing while playing

hey guys i have got an issue in my pc it freezes when i play any game i tried to download EVGA precision to increase fan speed of GPU and lower the temp of it but it didn't help alot it gave me more time to play like 5 minutes more and then freezes so what should i do?
i tried to run the A/C while i play but it didn't make a difference and i tried to play some movies it worked well and had no problems.
this is my specs

AMD-FX9590 + liquid cooler
GTX 950 2GB zotac amp
Gigabyte GA-990FXA R5
16 GB hyperx blue
seasonic 520W
.
and i will get the RX 480 next week so what should i do now?

Its probably that cpu, it is infamous for being a hot unstable monstrosity. Also your power supply is lacking AMD actually recommends 1000watts when using that cpu, it doesn't really need that much but 520watts is pushing it. I would assume either your power supply is not adequate, your cpu is too hot, or just unstable, or all three.

Do you know the temps? Assuming the cpu cooler is mounted properly and you have adequate airflow through the radiator, underclock and undervolt the cpu. Not many other things you can do to bring down temps with a water cooler, it will cool what it is able to cool and if the cpu is pumping out more heat than the cooler can displace its going to overheat.

how can i underclock and undervolt the cpu? and is there any program that i can use for that except the msi command center ?

is it overclocked?if yes then u need to bring it back to normal operating frequency and if not then let it be.
if u r using more then 2 antiviruseprograms then uninstall one.use only 1 program.
and run your computer in safe mode.and check whether it still freezes after 5 mins or not,if it does then its a hardware issue and if not then its a software issue.
now assuming that it didnt freeze,run msconfig through run command(win+R) and select the startup tab and untick all unnecessry programs and goto services and disable all unecessary services.
and still there is an issue of freezing in normal mode but not in safe mode then u need to install a fesh copy of windows.

well thats it for the software issue.
