I'm amateur at this kind of stuff, I am looking for a good setup for around 1000 €, mostly for playing games, and I think this setup will do just fine, but I'm just checking here to make sure.

Is it good for modern games like Fallout 4 and DOOM 4?

Thanks!

No. Go with Skylake. Get a better PSU if you havent bought it already. [strike]get a non-reference RX 480 8Gb when they come out in a week or two.[/strike]

EDIT: Better yet, renounce overclocking so you can get a better GPU. This Xeon is equivalent to an i7 6700:

The CPU fan exceeds the maximum height of the case by 5mm, is it ok?

No, it's not. Like i told you careful at the case cuz the noctua is huge.
Try this. I prefer it to the Noctua: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/9bFPxr/be-quiet-cpu-cooler-bk019
