Hello,

Im going to talk for a hp pc and for an asrock pc..

Hp pc:
Mobo: foxconn 2abf
Cpu: intel i3 2120
Ram: hp one non ecc unbuffered 4gb
Psu: Coolermaster elite 600
Gpu: r7 250 1gb
Hdd: 500gb one

So i was using the above build normally, then i sticked another 4 gb ram stick and worked perfectly. Totally 8 gb for the hp (ram stick was a value select by kingston)

Then i was given the asrock pc and i though of building it as my main one..

Asrock pc:
Mobo: h81m-dg4
Cpu: g3240
Ram: Value select one by kingstone
Psu: Coolermaster elite 600
Gpu: r7 250 1gb
Hdd: 500gb one

The project did good i can say, i even put up a 120gb ssd by kingston but i realised my i3 build was faster and i decided to go back at it.

Then i put everything up and the ssd, but cant boot so i can format install the os etc...

I cleared my cmos, put out the battery for 10 mins and the jumper, also uninstalled everything (gpu, ssd, tried 1 ram stick) but still the same, doesnt boot.

What do you recommend ?
Please if you reply keep ur eye here so you can help me fixing that

Hi!

Quick Question: doesn't boot up with Windows or doesn't even show a POST/BIOS option ?

It looks like you're using the same PSU for both rigs, is that correct? If so, you'll want to recheck your connections on all your devices and to the physical PSU. It doesn't hurt to check the voltage of your outlet with a multi-meter to be sure you're getting appropriate power from the wall. At this point I would test the PSU (take it out of your case and use a 24pin tester). If you've tried all that I would double check the motherboard manual and make sure you have your jumper front panel pins set up correctly. If all of these things check out, I would get another cheap PSU for like 40 bucks or so you can get a 400w to 500w PSU. This would...

This would prove if it's a PSU issue, if all your connections are set up correctly.

It's always worth it to have a back up PSU.

Let me know if you have any more questions or issues.
