Hey guys!
I was noticing a bit of high temperatures on my CPU, I normally check them with Speedfan. Before changing my thermal paste (I did that yesterday), Prima95 with 100% CPU usage gave me around 80C (again, checked with speedfan). After changing the thermal paste I checked again and it gave me 72C... I thought it was still way too high. For that reason I opened coretemp and it didn't go passed 61C. I ran the test for about 20 minutes.
The questions are...
Should I believe CoreTemp or SpeedFan more? and, Are my temps fine? on full Prima95 load, as I said, it gave me 61C, and on idle around 37C.
My specs:
Windows 10 64bits
CPU: amd FX-8350
CPU Cooler: I actually forgot the model :c is a big-ass Cooler master heat-sink. It has 2 90mm fans... sorry I couldn't be more accurate!
GPU: EVGA gtx 780 3gb gddr5
PSU: Cooler Master v650 semi-modular 650w 80plus gold
RAM: 8gb of ddr3 ram, 1333mhz (hyper x)
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
Thanks for the help!
