Hello everyone,
I'm currently in the state of building my first ever gaming pc.
I've created a list of the components I'm thinking of.
Could someone maybe tell me some components that are better for price or performance? Also I need to know if anything there isn't compatible.
I'm looking to run 1-2 screens at 1080p for high end gaming. I'm looking for 60fps at least at high settings for games like ARMA 3, Battlefield and DayZ. I don't have a budget as I'm aquiring the money myself, but I'm not looking to go much higher that the current cost of mp pc list.
I have a strict colour code, red and black (generic I know)
I'm looking for air cooling, I'm just not in the market money wise or knowledge wise to go for water cooling.
Here's the link to my build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/3yxD8K
Thank you.

P.S. everything on the lost which has a price of £0 I've already purchased.

Solution

The main advantage of using just two of the RAM slots is that it leaves space to add more later.
But it also takes a bit of stress off the memory controller in the processor and can be easier to set up

Okay, I'll change the CPU
I have storage lying around, I forgot to add it to the list (120gb SSD and a 1tb HDD)
I'm going for the extra fans because. why not aha.
Why should I go for 2x8 instead of 4x4 since the mobo has 4 slots and I thought it was better to fill up all the slots?
Thank you.
