Thinking that my next investment should be a new GPU like the GTX1080, believe my existing rig can handle it but would like some feedback and recommendations. See my specs below:

i7-4790k | NZXT Kraken X61 | ASRock Z87 OC Formula/ac | G. Skill Trident X Series 32GB DDR3-2666 | Samsung 840 EVO 750GB/500GB | EVGA GTX780Ti Classified KINPIN | NZXT Phantom 820 | PC Power & Cooling Silencer MKIII 1200W PSU | Corsair Vengeance K70| MAD Catz R.A.T. 9 | Triple Monitor Setup Asus VG278HE 144hz & 2 Asus VG248QE 144hz | Logitech Z506 Surround Sound 5.1|

Solution
Other than the fact that I don't see your PSU in the tier list, I think your build is solid and will have no problem accepting the GTX 1080.

Are you sure that you need a 1200W PSU?

Phhh... you are fine... I almost wonder if it is a joke... or a trolling attempt.

Probably 1200W PSU is overkill but I was concerned about power and having the capability to SLI gpu's effectively if needed.

No I was really concerned about my old Z87 motherboard really was debating to upgrade that first but wont if I dont need it, basically playing BF4, Crysis3, COD Ghosts FPS Games at 1080.
