A friend of mine asked me to build a PC for his son as a graduation gift. The budget is $900US.

I've been banging my head against a wall trying to come up with something.

He is mainly using it for 1080p gaming on a TV. I'm guessing 60Hz. He also has a keyboard and mouse, and an SSD.

His only real request was to use the S340 Razer edition.

I know the motherboard is OC capable and the cpu isn't. But I was having issues finding a decent Full ATX board that wasn't red/blue.

I left the video card out, I figure I'll have him wait for the RX 480 board partner cards.

That looks like a pretty solid build, once you add in the video card later. Don't forget the Operating System, that will add another $100 or so. Check to make sure the non-k i5-6500 comes with a cpu cooler (I think it does, but someone here will know for sure).
