Hello.
I've managed to overclock my CPU using an offset mode ("normal" in Gigabyte MB's, mine is Z170X Gaming 5) to keep my power saving features enabled and found a safe voltage sweet spot for heavy load situations.
I dont have any sort of stability issues and my temperatures are well within comfortable range, but the "problem" is that multiplier never drops on idle and as far as i know - it is supposed to.
As a result, idle voltage jumps around like crazy at any random value from 0.240 to 1.344 and as a result my idle temperatures are also jumping around from 22 to 26 celcium degrees.
I wonder if there is anything to "fix" this? Make the multiplier drop like it's supposed to.
In BIOS i've tried to set every power-saving feature to AUTO or ENABLED. Or did they never were supposed to work in OC scenario?
