R9 270x DX12

Solution

simply put it is one of new feature that only accessible with DX12. it was heavily influence by AMD hardware design. hence game with async support should running faster on AMD card...in theory. the new hitman in DX12 proves that using the feature does not mean the game will automatically gain more performance even on radeon. with nvidia maxwell enabling...

depends if that game uses async, my 290x does worse in rise of the tomb raider in DX12 as it doesnt have any async support. the 270X will be somewhere up in the 970 range if the game supports async, ashes of the singularity is the only game i currently know of that supports async
