I'm setting up a new build. Boots fine and starts going through Windows 7 set up fine however I lose all USB function after selecting country/region. It's fine prior to that and in BIOS.

The installation completes with no further input needed but I then need to enter a name for the computer which I can't. Ive tried 2 mice and 2 keyboards in all 11 USB ports. Any ideas?

country/region isn't very far into the install process.

I would download the tool (my 1st link) as its likely to include USB drivers to allow you to get past the screen you are on. USB is one of the barriers to getting win 7 onto a New PC these days

make sure you Enable Windows 7 Installation from bios.
Windows 7 Installation settings can be found Settings/ Advance/ Windows OS Configuration

It shouldn't, Win 10 generally supports USB 3 in the installer. USB 3 didn't exist when Win 7 was released and recent Intel chipsets have removed support for Windows 7 making it even more fun to install.
