So i have huge problem with PC. Week ago i have shutdown PC and when I wanted to turn it on it faild to even get into bios with 1long beeo and 3 short. I switched my HD7770 for old GeForce 9600gt and everything was working fine. I sad ok and bought GTX950.

Yestrday i again same problem. After shuting down PC it didnt want to turn on. Also not even geting in bios only 1 long and 3 shirt beeps and after few seconds agan one, but this last seems to be normal beep that is always there when i start pc. And monitot have also red light like when it goes to sleep.

So i thouht that new card is dead already and switched it for old 9600gt again but nope, still same beeps.

So here is what i tried:
1. Friends psu
2. Friends ram
3. Switched ram slots
4. Cleared cmos bios
5. Disabled other hard drives and dvd rw
6. I cleaned whole pc from dust

I also turned pc on without GPU and found that speaker give same beeps.

So i think my MBO PCI-E slot is dead or simply chipset. Could it be my psu is faulty so it burned my gpu and now mbo?
PC:
AMD Phenom II x3 720 be
Asus m2n68
2x2gb kingmax DDR 2 800
Gainward Gtx 950 2gb
500w psu
WD blue 500gb and 160

P.S. i am writing this from phone so there could be errors in writing and also my english is not perfect.

Solution
I recommend the EVGA SuperNova G2 550-600W Gold Rated PSU as well.

Also this is the first I have heard of Gainward. Why didn't you just go for an EVGA, Gigabyte, ASUS or MSI one as these are the most trusted aftermarket GPU makers out there. I don't fully trust Zotac, due to the temp probs I have had with their cards.
I currently have MSI GTX 970 4GB OC Edition.
Please post the exact make and model of your PSU.

One long beep followed by three short beeps means that it's not detecting a GPU.

https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1029959/

Please make sure that your 950 is correctly hooked up to the PSU, by way of a 6-pin PCIe connector. A 6+2 pin connector would also work if you pull back the last two pins.

Its linkwood 500w.

Yeah but why did it detected new gpu and it was worki g for a week and so did old gpu and now it wont again. No metter if i put new or old gpu.
I had friend psu also and hooked up but still the same.

I recommend replacing the power supply before we continue troubleshooting.

I leave this text here so that moderators know that I am waiting for OP to get a new PSU before continuing to troubleshoot. I have not abandoned the thread, please do not close the thread. Thank you.

I had friend psu and still didnt work. It hadseasonic i think.
Looks like damage is already done.
My mbo is 8 years old now ill have to buy new mbo, cpu, ddr3 and psu. Damn.

Is Amd FX x8 8300 any good? kingstone fury ddr3? And chieftec psu is all of that good? I found one with 80+ bronze 400 and 500w. It cost around 60-65euros.

AMD FX is dead.

Get Intel i3 6320 for now and upgrade and upgrade to i5 or i7 when budget allows.

For the PSU, I recommend Corsair RM/RMi/RMx series, EVGA SuperNOVA G2/P2/T2 series, and Cooler Master V series (overpriced here in the US, not sure about prices in Europe).

Most Seasonic PSUs are rather high quality, but watch out for their cheap budget oriented models, those ones are not all that great.

Would you like me to pick out parts for a budget friendly Intel gamer?
