So I have been having a randomly recurring problem recently where the monitor turns black, the keyboard and mouse stop working (so if I hit caps lock, the light doesn't change, for example) and then the computer restarts. Or at least it did restart, but I turned off the option for restarting on an error somewhere and now it just stays on with the black screen. The fans are still running when this occurs.
The problem started when I reinstalled steam, after that (and twice that day) the problem persisted.
Specs:
CPU: i5 3570k
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760
PSU: Corsair CX 750W
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3
MOBO: Asus P8Z77-V LX
Running an old OCZ Agility 3 with a WD 500GB Caviar Blue
Running Windows 7

Removed and reinserted CMOS battery along with GPU/RAM (actually found a loose standoff somewhere in the GPU), and have had no crash as of yet.
Just a waiting game now...
