PC Making crackling sounds (Usually before freeze)

Starting yesterday, my PC has become really unstable, varying between not being able to start up windows to only being affected by a game.

I started by playing Lego Worlds where after about a minute, I'd get a really horrible crackling sound before the PC froze up and I could do nothing but restart the PC. I tried running the game twice, but same thing happened at the same place.

I decided to play a different game (Prototype 2) which ran perfectly fine for the duration I played it (Around 1-2 hours).

Later in the day, I also played The Crew to no averse effect on my PC. I played that for around 1 hour also.

Later on, after turning my PC back on, I decided to attempt to play Prototype 2 again, but the same thing that had previously happened to Lego Worlds happened in this game too. The freeze wasn't as sudden, the game went to something like 1-2 FPS (maybe less) before it ended up crashing on me.

After Prototype 2, I restarted, but was having a massive struggle getting into windows. It stop at the loading screen before asking me to sign in. I attempted to load from a restore point which helped a tiny amount (I was able to get back into Windows), though the sound glitches did continue.

Before my final stop, I experienced a really strange BSOD. It started as a black screen and then in a very similar way to Cinebench, it rendered the blue screen in square blocks; once it had finished, it then started rendering the letters, one at a time. I ended up turning the PC off by holding the power button because of the length of time it was taking to finish.

Since turning off my PC yesterday, I did let it rest for a while (Turned off at the wall), and when turning it on today, it did seem fine. Loaded up Prototype 2 briefly, but quickly turned it off after it looked like it was micro-stuttering (Despite the fact it's set to only use one GPU). I also tried Lego Worlds again, but that went through an issue after going through the restore point. I re-downloaded the files it needed but it wouldn't get past the start-up screen (I'm not sure if this is relevant or not). I went back into Prototype 2 to play for a while, but the crackling started again. I quickly exited the game before it crashed.

After leaving the game, I checked out MSI after burner which showed some extremely odd numbers (Never seen these before) based on my GPUs (Included below).

Checking through everything else, my RAM seems to appear as normal, my CPU temps are the same as ever, while my GPU temps are a little hard to monitor in real time for any meaningful length of time, though I don't suspect anything has changed with them.

My spec:

Motherboard: MSI Z97-G55 SLI
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690k @ Stock (Noctua DH-14 cooler)
GPU: MSI GTX 770 Twin Frozr (SLI)
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB (2x4GB @1600Mhz)

Thank you for taking the time to read the post, what could be the issue?

Edit: I forgot to mention that YouTube videos now will only load sound. It seems to only be an issue on Youtube.com, as videos on other sites load with the YouTube player. Steam also loads both video and sound.

well hard too say at this end I would think its either PSU or GPU from what you are saying the PSU is not got good reviews but it is expensive from what I have read here the GOOD PSU EVGA G2 is the best at the moment but what might be worth a try is to take your GPU out of your PC take it around a friends house test it in his PC then you can rule that out hope this helps

Of course! It's an XFX Pro 850W XXX Edition.

The PC is a little under 2 years old. I recently did take it in for not turning on. I was told the PSU had a loose connection inside.

I've almost definitely tied it down to being a GPU issues. After a driver update, I was able to secure stability on both cards, however, when it comes to certain games, only GPU 2 will work without deathly low frame rates and sound glitches. It's still under warranty by a couple months, so I'm hoping to get it replaced.
