Hi
So since i pushed my budget i just have a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD for now until i get a HDD. Once I do get one what should i be using the SSD for? Is it just for games because i reckon I could fill 250GB with games or is it for specific games like open worlds with lots to load in?

Games I plan to play for a bit are, CSGO, Witcher, Fallout, DS3, and maybe GTA again.

Thanks in advance

The main thing you want on it are your operating system and any programs you use regularly. In terms of games, you won't see an increase in performance in games if you have them on your SSD. However, the load times for the game should be quicker.

No problem.

Quick tip before you go which will save you a world of pain later. Make sure you disconnect all hard drives except the SSD before you install your operating system. For more tips on managing your SSD to get maximum performance and maximum lifetime for it you should read this:

Lifesaver, thanks mate

Any games with long load times will benefit significantly from being on the SSD (fallout, GTA). But games like CSGO you can leave on your HDD and not tell the difference.
