Hello. The problem is, that when I try to log in to the router and input the password "admin" it does nothing just refreshes the page. When I input another password ike "potatosalad" then it says that it is incorrect. Now I cant use the wireless extender. Plugging it to the router doesnt really extend its range.

Erm, what? Nothing can change the SSID or admin/wifi passwords.

Even if it could, you could reset your router & restore all that to default.

I'm not seeing a problem with Tenda here....

Depending on the exact model, some require username & password to be "admin", some require just the password to be entered.

I would suspect the way the interface is coded, it's not looking at whether your username is correct or not. So the password "admin" is correct, thus, doesn't give an error. But the lack of username (or inclusion of username) is probably where the problem lies.

The problem is, that I CANT input a username! I can only input the password! There is no other textbox! :C

Ok. You are trying to log in to the extender itself, right? You're not navigating to your routers IP? You want to sync the extender with your router (usually it's pressing the WPS button on your router & extender within X period of time, consult your manual). Once they are synced, go to your router's IP and it's show you all connected devices. You then need to navigate to the IP address of the extender to amend any settings.

Model numbers of router and range extender would be very helpful.

Are you trying to log in to the router or the range extenerder?
Can you log into router without using range extender?
Have you tried logging in with a different browser (some older ones only like internet explorer)?

yeah I can log into the router, but I already threw that shit out. It changed the SSID of the router, the admin pass and the wifi pass. I got it working because I have a laptop with Kali Linux installed so I could crack the password. NEVER buy Tenda WRE! ...
