I installed the evga nvidia 980 classified. I tryed to reinstall my other graphics card and I accidently fried my motherboard. I bought a new one (listed below.) The graphics card did the following:
The 980 is making a couple ticking sounds then the fans spin left and right then stops. My previous msi nvidia 970 works in my new motherboard and brings up the bios.
I have:
Motherboard: asus A99FX pro 2.0
Processor: AMD FX-8350 black edition 8 core 4.2 ghz
RAM: G-Skill Rip jaws 4x4.
Power supply: corsair 750w
Sorry for such a long post i wanted to tell the whole story.
