Amd rx 480 not detected

Intel core I7 4770k
16Gb cosair ram
Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB

I just got my new graphics card today but my computer is not detecting it. when i go on my bios I can see it is their but when I look at device manger this comes up. https://gyazo.com/7421b6b39621136bdec2c29604606a8a
I have tried installing and uninstalling them but nothing seems to work.

Any solutions?

Try upgrading to Win10 by booting from a usb.

hi mate! Couple of things to try off the bat:

- make sure to uninstall your previous GPU drivers, then install your new gpu drivers from the manufacturers website
- make sure your motherboard drivers and BIOS are up-to-date
- make sure you are plugging your display into the GPU and not your motherboard

i did have a gtx 770 but i have uninstalled all the drivers i think
