Hi,

I have a hard drive that shows the performance is good on Hard Drive Sentinel, but health is showing anywhere from 0-10% on the same software. What does this mean?

Hi there twisted31,

I would totally agree with weberdarren97.
The first thing you need to do is to back up the data stored on the drive, as the drive could fail at any time.

Most probably, there are some bad sectors on it. Look for pending/reallocated and uncorrectable sectors.

In case it is under warranty, you should be able to RMA it.

It means that the read/write times in your hard drives are still up to spec. However, sectors on your drive are likely beginning to fail, this means that your hard drive is likely going to die soon. I would recommend backing up any data on your hard drive immediately. Stop using this drive and consider buying a new one immediately.
