I am interested to build a new desktop PC, for image editing in software like Adobe Lr, Pshop, Illustrator, InDesign having as starting point G4400 CPU, 8..16 RAM DDR3/4, Graphic card MSI R7770-PMD1GD5 AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5, 128bit, a SSD for the OS and Apps. I've studied these Mobo's:
ASUS H170-PRO (128 Mbit flash, DDR4, max 64GB RAM, @2133 MHz)
ASUS H170-PLUS D3 (128 Mbit flash, DDR3, max 64GB RAM, @1866 O.C./1600/1333 MHz, XMS Support)
Gigabyte GA-H170-D3HP (2x128Mbit flash, DDR4, max 64GB, @2133 Mhz)
The essential differences are related to the Bios, DDR type, supported RAM frequency, XMP support and Multi-GPU CrossfireX which is not the case at this moment.
Having said that, which is in your opinion your Motherboard recommendation please, DDR3 or DDR4, Bios flash is it an essential thing? Thank you
