Is 1TB of Storage ENOUGH FOR GAMING AND PRODUCTIVITY???

So i'm planning to get the 1tb version of the western digital black hdd and the 1tb version of the samsung 850 pro ssd, so is 1tb of storage enough for gaming and productivity?? I asked this because I already started a youtube channel!

For me, no. My 3 TB spinning disk is about 70% full.

For you, maybe. How much junk have you stockpiled?

Ok a 128GB SSD will hold windows, all programs, photoshop, office, etc... and Maybe a game or 2 or 1 large game. A 256GB allows you the same plus 4 big games.

If you want to install multiple games and have room on the desktop for working then a 512 GB is recommended, a 256GB will fill up fast unless you only play 2 gays at a time then delete them.

As for the 1TB storage drive. That depends on your storage needs. Some people it's fine, for me I have 16TB of storage on a NAS shared between 2 computers, smart phones, media players, etc.... The only hard drives in each computer are a single SSD.

With a you tube channel - I think I'd want more, maybe a 1 or 2 TB platter drive strictly for storage, can even keep little used apps on it
