I am looking to build a new gaming computer, mostly from scratch. I have received a EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 Graphics card, so I'm not looking to change that. Here is the computer I am looking at currently-

For some notes-
•The processor is a little ineffective for my purpose, so I'd like to upgrade that a little bit. Maybe to somewhere around i7, around, 4 or 5 GHz, Quad core processor seems good, though I'd be nice if I could upgrade to a penta core.
•Everything else I think is decent, though I haven't done any heavy research, so I'd appreciate any feedback if anyone has seen some better things and would like to recommend it.
•My budget is anywhere around $900-$1300.
•If it helps, I am trying to build a gaming computer to run Counter Strike:Global Offensive, Rust, H1Z1, Ark: Survival Evolved, and games like that at around 60 FPS.
•I'm not completely sure if the other specs are completely matched to what I put up previously, so let me know if it'd be better for x y or z.

Thank you for any feedback in advance!

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
MOBO: MSI Z170-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory

i5 is more than enough for what you detailed to be your gaming itinerary, get a much better PSU, much better set of RAM, better motherboard, better HDD and an SSD, better CPU cooler, arguably a better case. (using, as said above, the price of the video card and the lowered i7 to i5 price to make those better)
