Pc freezes at startup motherboard screen. Doesn't boot at all

Solution
Didn't you alredy tried changing cables?
If you did, like I understood In your first posts, most likely your HDD died.

You can try again changin for another cable and connecting to another sata connector in your mobo just to be sure if you want.

But I think you will need a new HDD to fix this.

You should list a few of the things you have tried at least, also the motherboard model CPU, a picture of the screen could be very useful.

Something that could happen is that your pc is stuck trying to recognize, either your HDD or the RAM,and its having issues, first I would recommend to unplug all your drives, if this doesn't work, leave only one memory on the slot, switch it from slot to slot, and test in between, If you have many sticks, try the same with the others, all this until you get it to the bios or try to boot .

Thanks for the reply! I've found the trouble now. It's not detecting the hard drive. I've brought a Seagate 320gb almost six months ago. I've seen that one of the cables broke at the edge making it lose in the insertion. Could it be so? I even tried switching the cables. It doesn't get detected atleast through the other one. Help please!

Most likely your HDD has a serious issue, it could have been caused by a badly connected cable, when the cable was loose, the false contact could have damaged something in the drive.
