Hi so after a thunder last evening my computer suddently won't recognize if there's a ethernet cable plugged in or not( the cable is still fine i've tested it with other device). The ethernet port still has orange light on it. I have checked the driver( in network adapters in device manager), try to uninstall and reinstall it and even install new bios driver and reset my os , still doesn't work. Now the interesting part is if i unplugged the pc, wait like 5 mins and then plugged everything back again, my pc'll recognize the cable and connect to the internet sucessfully. However if i reset the computer, the same issue will occur again. So what should i do ? Do i have to buy a NIC ?
Edit : Other wireless connection on the same network are working just fine

Well the point is as i said i can still make it works by unplugging and putting everything back again every time i want to use the internet but that a hell of process so i just wondered if there are any solution to make it works more consistently as it was before
