OK,
I saw a single small thread on this here in which most folks told the guy not to worry, but one moderator brought up that bug internals could be conductive.

Back story: since installing a window AC unit I've had these little 1/8x/1/16" bugs fly around the monitor from time to time. The unit I've sealed all around they have to be coming through internally somehow but that is another issue. I will get some screening to put over the blow holes.

These bugs, especially if dark they like the light. Well my case is a Thermaltake Core X9 has some bright blue cathodes and RING fans with illuminated water cooling tubes everywhere so it's bright. And I opened the panel today to check my fittings for leaks. (I'm paranoid and do that every few days, just a quick inspection) and saw possibly a larger of those or a baby cockroach in there. Now I live in a new home and we don't have a 'problem' with them but we will upon occasion see one however rare. They are native to the area but our cats and poison traps keep them pretty well under control. Maybe once a week I will see one.
I'm being defensive ;)
Anyway, could a small cockroach or little bug as I described hurt my components?

I would like to know even speculative those who know about modern motherboard and PCB shielding etc if this is possible as well as some solutions? The bottom of the case has some holes in it that they might have gotten into, I could use screening there too I guess but meantime should I be worried?

I would not worry about it.

Always find a few bugs and spiders of varying natures that have crawled into places and expired.

Just dry husks for the most part....

I would not screen or otherwise do anything that could interfere with the airflows necessary for cooling.

Keep an eye on things as you have been doing., Continual mass infestations would be a concern. Otherwise not so much.

Thanks, ya I was thinking likely the same but you reminded me of days past cleaning out family member's systems and finding spider webs etc.
