I want to upgrade my cpu I currently have a amd Athlon x4 860 and a gigabyte f2a68hm-h mother board I'm thinking about getting a Intel i5 6500 but I would have to get a new mobo or I could get a amd fx 8350
Witch in should I get

There's only one CPU that is better than yours and can work in that MB, Athlon x4 880k and that's not worthwhile upgrade. FX 8350 needs new MB. If it's for gaming primarily, your choice of graphic card is important for choosing CPU.
