Hey everyone,

So, I'm planning on buying MSI H170 Gaming M3 motherboard. I have the Cooler Master RC-430 case. I'm wondering if this mobo would fit in my case. Another thing is that I have this HDD, Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1.5TB, and I would like to know if this HDD would be compatible with this new motherboard. Finally, what's the difference between MSI B150 and MSI H170, the former is cheaper, is it worth paying more and buying the latter? Thank you.

Solution
A: Yes, that motherboard will fit in your case
B: Yes, that HDD is compatible
C: The difference is chipset. B series motherboards are more aimed towards businesses and have pretty basic features. H is more for home use and is a little more advanced, feature wise. Z series boards are enthusiast grade and have high end features. They are also the only chipset that allows overclocking (also note that only K series SKUs can be overclocked). X series is largely irrelevant to you at the time being.
