Which CPU is best for gaming?

Hi guys, im quite new to fiddling with the insides of computers myself and therefore i was looking to get some help deciding what CPU upgrade i should get.

My motherboard is an ms-7673 (P67A-G45 (B3))

I have found this site with compatible CPUs so if any of you guys would be so nice to guide me in the direction of which of these i should be getting for the biggest improvement (im a gamer btw)

make sure your bios is up to date before swapping cpu's...

I currently have the intel i5-2300 CPU, i dont really know how to update my BIOS, i might be dumb asking, but how do i do that? thank you for the quick response :)

the manufacturer will have a program that does it for you
