Yeah that will work fine. It's a decent psu that will power your system without any issues.

but what I remember that the new cpu required new type of psu in other words old psu like the one I have now wont be able to run the new cpu because its old type

now is this vice versa? (old cpu ,new psu)

Yeah I have corsair cx psus in all of my pcs and they all have cables that can be broke apart and reattached to fit new and old motherboards.

I have a 2nd gen and 4th gen and the both have corsair psus in them and both work fine. As for your motherboard if this is it http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128423 then It will work since the cpu 8-pin connector is in both of my pcs. The 24 pin power connector is the same on pretty much every generation so no need to worry.
