Looking for a CPU under $300 that will be great for all games, especially CPU intensive games. I'm going to be playing Arma 3, DayZ Standalone, BF4, BF1. I also want to get one with a nice stock cooler and one that does not need a BIOS update. I also don't plan on overclocking. I want a CPU that I won't have to worry about upgrading for a couple of years.

Its hard to say what you can and cant run on that board without knowing what bios version you are on. Since its a H series board you can go with a 4690, but these were made for the z97/h97 boards. They can run on h81/h87/z87 but normally need a bios update to do so.

A 4670 might not need a bios update for your board or you would have to move down to a gen 3 3570 that will work without a bios update.

Once again if you go into your bios and find out what version its running we can tell you what cpu will work without an update. I would recommend doing any bios updates that are out there for your board as it will fix bugs that they have found.

i5 4690k would probably be your best bet for that motherboard under $300. It would definitely be able to power those games. However, with that board, you wont be able to overclock but I assume that isn't an issue seeing how you plan on using a stock cooler.

You can't put a socket 1155 i5 3570 into a socket 1150 H81 board.

@OP, with a BIOS update, you should be able to use any i5 4xxx or i7 4xxx. The i5 46xx CPUs will be a good bet, as they're clocked higher than others, and an i7 4790 or 4790K would be slightly above your price range but are the most potent CPUs that socket has to offer.
