Hi I have looked around at various different shops but none have come even close to the price of £350, could you recommend a place to get it from?

Thanks

I would strongly advise against buying a 980ti as £400 can get you a https://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-Nvidia-GeForce-Gaming-Graphic/dp/B01GVHNWUK/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1468069128&sr=1-3&keywords=1070 This card will be a way better option than the 980ti. In most benchmarks at 1440p the 1070 comes out on top by 5-10%, and the gap will continue to grow as Nvidia drivers mature for the 10xx range. Plus it gives better thermals and way lower TDP.

that is only 10% in 1080p in 1440p it is 1-3%. Overclocked the 980ti performs better until we get modded firmware for the 1070 and see the results. That being said the 980ti uses 100watts more which means more db's when overclocked. So unless your buying used or getting a sale I would stick to the 1070.

Interesting, most of the benchmarks (non-overclocked) I saw the performance gap at 1440 was bigger than at 1080. Anyway, the point remains that at stock clocks the 1070 comes out on top most of the time and it is a newer card with new architecture, definitely a better buy if the price is very similar.
