This week i have bought an new pc, i build the pc myself.

but today something weird happend, i shut of my pc and it didnt turn on when i started it again, i thougt it maybe was the gpu doing weird so i switched gpu, nothing.

Now i just don't know what to do, buy a new motherboard or buy a new cpu.

I personaly think that is is the vram because it hasn't got a cooler on it (its the msi 970a g43 plus)
because it was getting like 88 dergees celsius, even when the fans are at full power.

pc specs are:

msi 970a g43 plus
fx 8350
quadro fx 3800 (i tried another one but didnt work)
thermaltake smart se 730Watt.
hyperx ddr3 1866 8gb

Solution
I would recommend replacing the power supply with something from the Corsair RM/RMi/RMx series, the EVGA SuperNOVA G2/P2/T2 series, or the Cooler Master V series (overpriced in the US).

I would also recommend getting a motherboard that has a cooling system for the power delivery system. Or you could put your own heatsinks onto the VRMs on that motherboard with something like this. You will need thermal paste in order to get them to mount and transfer heat correctly. It won't look as good as a board that has a heatsink from factory, but it'll get the job done.

If it doesn't turn on at all- it can be PSU or motherboard failure, but very often it is just a connection problem. Google for a guide for "troubleshooting- pc won't turn on", or just unplug every part/wire out (except the CPU), plug them back, and see if it fixed itself.

The 8350 is a 125 watt CPU.

You need at least a 6-phase power delivery system with some sort of cooling system in order to run it properly. The motherboard I had used a 6+2 phase power delivery system. I used the Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 and I loved it. I got my 8350 to 5.2GHz on that board (liquid cooled the CPU and the power delivery system).

Your power supply is very low quality. It may cause damage to your system if you continue to use it (assuming it hasn't already damaged something).

So what do i Have to do then, get a new psu? ps. my cpu is watercooled with an cooler master seidon v120.

When i push the on button all the fans go spinning. the gpu fan is going at full speed and doesn't slow down (it normally does go after 3 seconds) i have unplugged everything and set it back en moved the ram, but still nothing:(

Is my cpu dead??

fans go spinning at normal speed, but the gpu goes at full speed and doesn't slow down, and i have tried a different gpu but the same thing happend. The weird thing is: the cpu gets warm, the vram gets warm, so i dont know what it is.

i have choosen to replace my mobo and the psu for this:
msi 970 Gaming, wich has 6+2 phase were you where talking about
and a corsair cx 650m

Thank you some mutch for the help:) now i can overclock my cpu and have better stability:D

and why that 650 watts?, because i want to have 2 rx 480's in it or 2 1060's

CX series is low quality and will develop unstable voltage delivery over time. Please do not buy a CX. It's a waste of your money because you'll just have to replace it in the near future anyway.

Please also consider that when a power supply delivers unstable voltages, it may damage other components as well if the voltages spike up too high.

I do not recommend Crossfire or SLI for multiple reasons.

1. Power consumption and heat output

2. It does not scale linearly... Two cards does not necessarily mean twice the performance

3. Microstutter. Each card works on a frame individually, this means that the primary card has to wait for the other(s) to sent their frames to it. This process can sometimes take more than an entire millisecond (which is noticeable during intense gameplay)

4. Game support. Not all games support SLI or Crossfire. Some games will only use a single GPU, even if more than one is present and operational.

but it was on the list that you send? (corsair cxm)

it is for GTA V and BeamNG drive, i am not a Black Ops or CS:GO Gamer

Yes, listed as Tier 4. Stay as close to Tier 1 as you can. Please read through all of the explanations that describe the differences between the different tiers on that page. Tier 1 is the best of the best, usually guaranteed for at least three years by manufacturer and you can usually buy longer warranties for them if you so desire.

Thank you so mutch you saved my money and my (pc) life :p i am gonna send my psu back an than get that Corsair RM650x

Well in my old build which I just sold for $1,200 I had the following.

CPU: AMD FX 8350 (OC to 5.2GHz)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 120V
MOBO: Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0
RAM: 32GB DDR3 1866MHz
GPU: Asus R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 (OC to 1100MHz)
GPU 2: Same
PSU: Cooler Master V1000 Gold certified
Case: NZXT Phantom 530 Black
Sound Card: PowerColor Devil HDX

Here's the machine I'm currently assembling. Actually I'm waiting on more tubing to arrive so I can finish the CPU loop...

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K
CPU Cooler: Custom loop, using monoblock to cool CPU and power delivery via 360mm radiator
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-GAMING 6
RAM: 32GB DDR4 3000MHz
GPU: MSI GTX 1080 Founders Edition (easiest to get a waterblock for)
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA P2 650W Platinum certified
Case: Phantex Enthoo Primo dark gray
Sound card: None (motherboard has sufficient onboard audio)

i just saw the GA-990XA-UD3 R5 (rev. 1.0), and it has a 8+2 phase, is that better than a 6+2 phase?
