So I recently started recording games for youtube and even streamed some when I got my gaming laptop. I started off using OBS, but then moved to xsplit later on. Recording worked fine, I was getting a solid framerate, the audio sounded great, and there didn't seem to be a problem. Just 5 days ago, I bought Overwatch, and decided I wanted to record some gameplay of it as well. However, when I try to record the game, my mic sounds extremely crappy and I get framerates of about 15 in the video. What I mean by this, is that I can play the game above 60 frames, and still play it above 60 frames even when I am recording. However, when I look at the recording I made, everything sounds bad and the video is very very choppy. It's really strange because I can still record every other game perfectly and they all sound good as well. It is just Overwatch that is giving me trouble. Please help!! Oh, and I tried Xsplit, OBS, and Nvidia Shadowplay, and they all gave me the same results with Overwatch.

Perhaps you should try a third person camera or maybe an external camera at best. That or perhaps you should switch to desktop, because a laptop video card isn't always as strong as a desktop computer, so results may vary.

By third person camera, do you mean having a camera actually recording the video rather than it being a software?? I find it weird because I can record games I think are considered more graphically intense such as call of duty black ops 3, and it records fine.
