Acer h233h looping solid colors

Ok so i woke up one day to find my monitor looping solid colors. thinking it was my pc causing i unplugged it from the monitor but the problem still persists.
Any ideas?

If disconnecting the monitor from power for thirty minutes and then reconnecting it does not solve the problem, then most likely yes.

If there is a physical power button on the monitor, press it for ten seconds after unplugging it to drain any remaining internal power. Otherwise, unplugging it may not fully reset it.

Wow... That almost never works.

But I'm glad your issue is fixed.

However, as this has happened once, it's likely to happen again. And will likely happen more and more often as the monitor ages.

It may eventually become unsolvable without replacing the monitor once it gets old enough.
