So I just installed my new motherboard (msi z97s kraft edition) and everything was working well and worked for a couple hours. Then I moved my computer back to my desk and got everything hooked back up, but it would boot to the motherboard screen, show the starting windows animation, then go to a black screen. But the computer was still on. However it will still work when in safe mode. Another way I got it to work was by uninstalling the drivers and rebooting.
The computer worked correctly the next day when I took the computer over to a friend's house to diagnose by flashing the updated bios. But now that the computer is back at my house, the problem has come back and it isn't fixed by me flashing the mobo again.
