I tried to post that as a picture in about 8 different ways, but nothing is cooperating with me today.

The dark spot on the bottom center. I literally barely touched this thing. There's no possible way I was too rough with it, so I don't think I bent anything. I definitely didn't hit it with anything, so I don't know how it could have bent, but the pins don't look right. What should I do?

Solution
I have seen / repaired dozens of bent pins....

-User applied CPU clamping device without CPU being properly set.
-User overtightened CPU cooler
-User removed plastic slot cover

Also common with the 15 pin USB cable

I was able to return the board to Micro Center with no headaches. They're great there. I couldn't have bent that pin if I were trying to. I would have had to crush it with a sewing needle or something tiny like that. Thanks everyone! Problem solved!

Btw- mjslakeridge, I like your avatar. My wife and I recently traveled through Lubbock, Houston and Dallas. Texas is beautiful and has some of the nicest people I've ever met!

Ya, Micro Center is great. I keep thinking of excuses to head over to my local store here in Houston. Since they moved to a bigger location they are only about 8 miles or so from my house. I have also lived in El Paso, Fort Worth and Dallas (twice). The only downside is the heat during the summer. It's barely 8:00 am and the temperature is already 82f with a heat index of 96f, on the way to a high of 97f for about the 10th straight day. Oh well, another reason not to go outside and do yard work, instead staying inside on the computer listening to some Tom Petty.

I feel you on the heat. NY will be around 90+ degrees this week as well.
There's nothing wrong with staying inside and listening to Tom Petty on days like these . In fact, I might join you!

I just found out a couple of days ago that Tom Petty put out a new album in April of this year (with Mudcrutch). And they toured for a couple of months to support it. I heard nothing about it until it was done. Listened to the album (Mudcrutch 2) on Spotify today. Odd thing is that the first track is "Trailer", a B-side to "Don't Come around here no more" from 1985 that never appeared on an album at the time. He must have liked it but the record label didn't, so he put it out now.
