I have a very old laptop (http://) with all USB 2.0 ports, one of which is shared with eSATA. I've started running out of room on my hard drive (a 240gb SSD), and purchased a 2TB WD external drive for some breathing room, which connects via a micro-b to USB 3.0 cable. To increase read speeds I'd like to connect it via my eSATA port, rather than just USB 2.0 speeds, however I can't find the right adapter (either an "extension" cable eSATA male to USB 3.0 female, or just directly connect to the drive with a micro-b to eSATA cable). I'm having trouble finding either of these.

Do they exist, and if they do, where should I be looking for them?
