Hi!

Long story short, I was playing CS:GO on not-my-own computer the whole day today, and just now the computer shut down and there's this huge smell of electrical fire in the whole room...

I opened the machine up to see if everything was okay when I noticed a huge burn mark on the GPU. I think its a GTX 560.

Here's a picture.

Is the graphics card no more? or can it be saved? What likely caused this? It's been running fine for something like 6 years without any issues whatsoever.

What is a good replacement card of the same performance? I was thinking GTX 750, is there a cheaper one readily available these days?

Thanks in advance!

Hey I am late and this wont probably matter but that burn looks like a rat pee(I once had a rat inside my pc and rat pee looks similar and can cause short circuits(don't worry my pc didn't burn but that rat died for sure)).

Either the computer case was open or the rat is teleporting itself insde the case cause I couldnt think of anwyay a rat can pee through

I didn't have the back I/O shield on so I think it must have squeezed in through there?
Is it just me who forgets I/O shield and then remembers when almost everything is attached to motherboard?
