My #1 advice is to NOT buy it now!

You will be overpaying for a graphics card which will be antiquated within a few weeks.

Wait for the release of the GTX1060. You will get performance equal to or better than a GTX980 for only $249. So you would save $20 over the GTX970 you have right now. Plus the GTX970 has memory issues where as only 3.5 of the 4GB is really suitable for gaming. The GTX1060 should be a MUCH better card, with more performance, more memory with a lower power expenditure.

You could save money by going with a Core I-5 also.

But don't buy now. I think you will majorly regret not waiting a few more weeks for the technology refresh.

If you are super desperate at least get an RX480 but...

lol you hated my advice so much you start a new thread?

You have a very good build there, and it would be perfectly fine if you didn't change a thing about it.

I would not expect the price to drop too much on the 970s. They price will only go up as stocks get low. I've seen them for around $240 and I would be surprised to see one lower than that.

EDIT: the case comes with two fans up top and 5 fans overall. Not bad for a $50 case.
