Dumb question about CPU fan port

So, on my system, I have a total of 6 fans. Three for my radiator, and 3 system fans. They are all three pin fans.

I want my radiator fans to run on full speed all the time, because they are so quiet, however my corsair case fans are much louder, and I want them on a fan controller (built into my nzxt case).
So, I was going to plug my radiator fans into the ports on my motherboard, but I need fan cable extensions, but I only have 2 extensions. Because the CPU_OPT fan port is so close to my radiator, can I plug that one 3 pin fan into my CPU_OPT fan port and just have it run on full speed?

For building four PC's, installing a water cooling loop, and modifying many things on my case, I find it funny how I have to ask this.
Anyway, thanks for the replies guys.

Solution
that port is for cpu pumps and cpu back up. it not monitor as the other cpu port . some mb bios will have control logic for that port some wont. it will be fine to power the cpu pumps/fans.
