So,

I had this crappy PSU that sometimes would turn my PC off. I decided to change it and ordered a new one. Prior to the arrival of my new PSU, my computer constantly kept turning off. In one of these episodes a red light appeared on my MOBA, along with a message on my screen that said 'Warning!' and then told me about a fatal error with my PSU.

I didn't pay much attention since my new PSU would arrive tomorrow (today). The thing is, as I finished installing the new PSU, the red light appeared once again upon booting. No message this time. Nothing at all on the screen, for that matter.

It's late now, so I'll probably work on it tomorrow but I am trying to find out what it could be. I'd really appreciate if you guys could help me. Thanks!

Your post reads a lot like your board died with the bad PSU.

1| Can you please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS and peripherals?

2| Breadboard your system and with your new PSU's connections all made in place but with only one stick of ram and your BOOT drive off the first SATA port that is native to your chipset.

3| Without any ram connected, trying to power up the system should result in error beeps. take note of them.

4| Remove CMOS battery and replace after 15 minutes before trying to power up system.
