Hello guys.

So my pc is getting very old and cant even open Google Chrome anymore.
So thats why i got some money to spend to build a gaming pc.

My complete budget is 600 Euros . So let that sink in.
The rx 480 recently came out and i was wondering if you guys can build a rig with that.

Ofcourse i can go a little bit over my budget.

What i want:
Cheap but beast video card.
Good CPU
I dont know anything about motherboards.
500gb/1 tb drive
A new 1080p monitor ( seperate budget)
Keyboard and mouse ( Seperate budget)
I dont really need a beast cooler. Not to noisy.

OS is covered.

And if you can fit it in or if its just above my budget a small ssd.

Thank you.
Appreciate your help!

Thnx for the info.

So i went to pcpartpicker, made a gaming rig and came with this as a result
(If something is wrong please say it).

Reminder Im planning to buy this pc at the end of the year!

Solution
That system will go together pretty well but I have to point out a few things:
On your list the rx 480 is priced at 269$ however that price will decrease by 20$ by the time your going to buy your parts (the original price is 249$ but due to most online retailers being out of stock since the card was released recently, they're currently selling the card with a bit more expensive price tag)
If you ask me, I'd say choose MSI for both your Graphics Card and your Motherboard.
You can buy the MSI 970 GAMING motherboard for 99$ on Newegg.
Other than that and buying some fans and a CPU cooler, you are all set!

Ok so let's break things down a little bit:
First of all I'm gonna go with $ (600€ = 650$)
CPUs use different motherboard sockets, which means you have to match your cpu and your motherboard and make sure they have the same socket
it all comes down to budget and personal preference but I'd recommend a fx 8370 and an atx motherboard ( mini atx can be a bit cheaper)
The rx 480 comes in two versions 4gb and 8gb which I believe the 4gb will be good enough for HD gaming (assuming you're not planning on going with VR or upgrading to 4K gaming)
The cheapest storage solution would be to get a combo of a 120 GB ssd and a hard drive of your choice, you can install your OS on the ssd which will increase your overall system loading speed and you can install other contents on your hard drive.
You can get a corsair h60 to cool down the cpu, it's a water cooler but it shouldn't cost you more than 60$ plus it can be almost noiseless if you choose a quiet fan to go with.
The monitor really depends on your choice of its size and brand
mouse and keyboard are a personal preference

I had to exceed your budget some, but if you can wait until the RX 480 4GB cards are on the market you can get one of those models and then you would be closer to 600 Euros.

Nearly no one upgrades their CPU, sometimes that is possible but going from an X99 5820k to a 6800k has a minimal affect on performance. The dead platform you are referring to is capable of the tasks OP mentioned. While I do not like to recommend AMD at the moment we must keep in mind OP's budget and in my opinion an AMD FX-6300 will outperform an i3 Skylake.

People forget that this is a 6-core CPU with decent multi-threaded performance and the i3 Skylake is more expensive and just a dual core CPU.
