Hello I'm first time building a gaming pc (I have help from somebody who has experience building pcs), and I want to make sure all the parts are compatible with each other, here are my components and prices (I'm buying this all from Newegg):

Mobo: Gigabyte h110m ds2 ddr4 lga 1151 6 gen
Cpu: Core i5 6400 quadcore 2.70Ghz
Psu: Litepower 550watts
Ram: Hyper x fury 8gb
Gpu: Asus nvidia gt 630 ddr3
Hdd: Seagate 1 tb.

They are compatible, but that graphics card is absolutely terrible.
Even your CPUs integrated graphics would probably fare better.
What is your budget? I can put together a much better build for you.

Hello, yes they are compatible, however; change your GPU to GTX 750Ti 2GB DDR5 coz 630 is garbage and costs too much for what it offers.

Change PSU to EVGA 100-B1-0500-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 500W as it is same price but bettery quality

I can't find your motherboard on newegg but I recommend ASRock H110M-DGS LGA instead.

Also you don't need RAM that has more than 2133MHz because motherboard won't support it, so make sure you buy 2133MHz one

The motherboard can support even upto 3000+Mhz using XMP profile in the bios. Also what is your budgte for the entire build? The 750 ti and RX 480 are a good deal apart in performance? Are you playing at 1080p? What kind of games do you play/want to play?

Your motherboard is fine, changing it to Z170 platform will not increase your gaming performance, if you want to however change to that you should also replace the cpu with i5 6600k to take advantage of the overclocking Z170 platform advantages.
