Hi

Today suddenly the computer doesn't turn on. I bought used Radeon HD 5870, replaced the PSU from 430 Corsair to 650 Chieftec A80 (which is almost new). Motherboard light is on, so it shouldn't be PSU problem. It had running like so about 2 days without any problems. I stresstested this graphics card, all worked fine!

Update: I switched PSU for corsair CX430W. Now it's working. Now was that just chieftec bad quality what failed or is that used graphics card bad and ruined the PSU? I'm scared to hook up 5870 to Corsair right now.

Chieftec has been used for subwoofer almost for a year without any problems.

And this topic is in wrong thread now..

Solution
The CX only has about 385 watts on the 12 volt rail, and is made with cheap caps, I wouldn't stress the PSU any by OCing anything or playing high stress games, if the caps go they can take the mobo, CPU, GPU, etc with it
