Hello, so I have a FX-8350 mounted on an Asrock 990fx extreme3 and 2x8gb hyperx fury @1866Mhz.

Yesterday I bought two extra 8gb of ram of the same brand, same model and same specs of those I already had. But if I put more than 2 sticks at a time the system won't boot. I have tried every stick singularly in each slots end everything works fine, so there are no broken sticks nor motherboard slots. I even updated the latest BIOS but it didn't solve the problem.

I halso tried with 2x8gb 1866 and 2x8gb 1600, borrowed from a friend of mine, and it all works fine, the pc boots up and I can see 32gb of memory running at 1600Mhz.

I read on the internet that other users had a similar problem, they'd put 4x8gb @ 1866Mhz but the system would only run those at 1600Mhz. That would be fine for me, but my problem is that the system doesn't even boot up if i put 4 sticks o those.

Anyone had the same problem and found a solutions?

Thanks and sorry for the orrible english..

Solution
Their no guarantee when adding more memory even if it's the same brand and model. Memory is sold in matched sets for a reason.
Put in the original memory, manually set the timings and speed (1600) in BIOS. Install the other sticks and see if it works.
If that don't work then post a link to the exact memory and we can go from their.
